Pam's husband has Altzeimers and has been hospitalised for several years. One morning she appeared upset when she arrived to sit in the Circle, as her husband's condition appeared to be deteriorating. However, before the day was out, we became profoundly aware of the value of 'what we have here' in the lodge. Pam first sat in séance with Sandy (medium), and through her Pam was able to ask Graham (a spirit communicator) for guidance about her husband's condition. This was Graham's reply:

Who is Jack Hunter?

Jack Hunter first introduced himself to the Bristol Spirit Lodge Circle early in 2009 whilst studying Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Bristol. His disseration work was concerned with the practise of contemporary trance and physical mediumship. Subsequently his fieldwork was conducted within the Lodge. He later became co-author, alongside Chris Di Nucci, of 'Charlie'.

Jack's article 'Fraud and Mediumship' has been published in "PSI: Journal of Investigative Psychical Research". His article 'Anomaly: Journal of Research Into the Paranormal has been published in "Anthropology and the Paranormal".
